Providers in Partnership
PiP Vision
The vision of Providers in Partnership is to mirror and work alongside priorities of other key partners in order to produce a true partnership approach across York and North Yorkshire. The key objectives of Providers in Partnership being met March 2006-July 2007 will result in the vision being realised. Providers in Partnership will achieve the following:
- Be recognised by key partner organisations as the organisation for consultation and discussion on Vocational and Work-Based-Learning issues including ALP and LSC.
- Have credible representation on every Vocational Learning related forum at local, regional and national level including 14-19 group.
- Capitalize funding from various sources to be a sustainable organisation with the ability to deliver its aims and mission and to respond to stakeholders and partnerships.
- Effectively engage and increase knowledge of Work-Based-Learning provision in schools across York and North Yorkshire.
- Engage employers across York and North Yorkshire in the investment of skills by ensuring Work-Based-Learning provision is responsive to the needs of employers and to the learner.
